Raymond mill and its powder spraying problem
- 2018-10-24 -

Raymond mill has higher efficiency, lower power consumption, smaller floor space and less investment compared with other ore grinding machines. The grinding roll is pressed tightly on the grinding ring under the action of centrifugal force, so the yield and fineness of the finished product will not be affected when the grinding roll and the grinding ring are worn to a certain thickness. The service of grinding roll and ring is long, thus decreasing the replacement frequency of fragile parts of centrifugal crusher. The air flow of the machine is circulating in the fan - grinding shell - cyclone separator - fan, so less dust of Raymond mill would be produced than high-speed centrifugal mill. The whole Raymond mill is in a vertical structure, which covers a relatively small area and has a strong system. It can be used as an independent production system from rough processing of raw materials, conveying to pulverizing and final packaging.
Sometimes, there will be a problem of powder spraying of the imported material of Raymond mill.
Check if there is any damaged pipe leakage, because the air flow inside the Raymond mill is circulating. And if there is leakage, it may cause the air flow to rotate and blow the material out of the inlet. Check whether the dust bag is blocked. If the dust bag accumulates too much powder, affecting the normal exhaust, it will also cause the phenomenon of powder injection at the inlet. You can use a wooden stick to knock the dust bag, so that the dust on the bag is scattered (in daily production, it is better to knock the bag with a wooden stick once a few hours).
The inlet was originally used for feeding raw materials to the mill cabin. If powder was sprayed outside, the raw materials could not be sent in. In general, the motor circuit can be checked to see if there is any reverse of the main motor caused by the short circuit. Similarly, this also applies to the first installation of Raymond machines.
